POWDER BROWS

Powder/Ombré brows is a technique of cosmetic tattooing that provides a means to fill the brow with a dot shading effect resulting in a daily makeup look done with an eyebrow pencil, powder or pomade.

The tails of the brow are darker and fade into a light beginning to the brow, giving a perfect ombré make up effect. The effects will be waterproof, smudge-proof and completely natural.

While powder/ombré brows have a more filled-in and strong appearance, once done they heal like a soft shaded powder look. The great thing is that this technique is suitable for most skin types.

FAQs

How long do Powder Brows last?

Since Microblading pigments are not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional tattoos, the area will naturally fade over time. The microblading results can last anywhere between 1-3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, age and how often you get touch-ups.

Your skincare routine will also have an effect on the longevity of the pigment. Patients who tan, use chemical peels or products with AHA or Glycolic Acid will fade faster as your skin will resurface faster.

How long does it take to heal?

Brows will take about 4- 6 weeks until they reach their final look. But it only takes 2 weeks for scabbing process to complete. After 2 weeks you can return to normal routine and activities.

How often do you need a touch up?

We recommend yearly touch ups to keep the color fresh. It varies from client to client, but it can be 8 months to 2 years, depending on the client’s skin type and life style.
